Vinnie Ralph's Saratoga Pick 4 & Pick 3 plays - 8/1/2004
We're pleased to be offering you our multi-ticket plays on each of the Rolling Pick 3's on the last 6 races of the day for the entire 36 day Saratoga meet.
We'll also be providing you with our featured multi-ticket Pick 4 strategy on the last four races of each racing day at the SPA. Our strategy for both the Pick 3 and the Pick 4 is to emphasize our "key" horses by using them on all of our tickets, while allowing for the possibility of one of our longer priced "backup" horses to light up the board. We use our backup horses for each race just once, on separate tickets.The advantages of using a multiple ticket strategy rather than put all of our horses on a single ticket can be boiled down to one thing....COST. This is especially crucial for when the lower paying Pick 3's and Pick 4's come in. Our key / backup approach helps to keep our investment as low as possible while still allowing for a substantial upside if one of our longshots comes in.
As always, we suggest waiting until late scratches are announced before making your wagers. Just one or two scratches, especially among our "key" horses (those that appear more than once on our tickets) can dramatically reduce the cost of these plays. Here we go...................

As usual, today's card has a number of "also eligibles" and "main track only" horses, some of which will likely be scratched, reducing the cost of our tickets. So be sure to get all the late scratches before putting your wagers in!
